all about threads

Talk about love at first sight. This mish-mash hideaway is a bursting metropolis of colour and bold energy. Thanks to owners Will & Jenny, not only is it a haven for one-off statement pieces — loud, proud, and just that little bit naughty — it also showcases handmade products from over fifteen of our local makers, with space and enthusiasm to support even more.

We love our town.
We believe Ipswich deserves thoughtful cultural investment, spaces for expression, and opportunities for people to contribute meaningfully to its future.

Ipswich umbrella Repair, Reuse, Reconnect.

Operating as a repair and creative hub, Ipswich Umbrella offers a new collaborative space where community members can meet, fix household items, learn new skills, and reduce waste.

With a wide range of tools and materials on offer, along with plenty of peer guidance for woodwork and metalwork to furniture restoration – this wonderfully cozy, sustainable space was welcomed by an impressive number of locals, who were all euthanasic to volunteer their services at their launch last month.
