Alongside spoken word nights and visiting shows, the theatre remains a central meeting point for performance in the town — professional and grassroots sharing the same building.
The Regent brings larger touring productions, music acts and comedy nights into town throughout March. While bigger in scale, these dates still draw strong local attendance — a reminder that Ipswich sits on the national circuit, not outside it.
