The Crafty Fox - Till Death do we Art

The Crafty Fox has become a regular refuge for the Wild Assembly – a place where ideas come to breathe and a stage for our creative gatherings to unfold.

Lisa and her husband Gary, have poured heart and soul into building this atmospheric, urban hide-out that naturally draws in bohemian wanderers like us.

Tucked in the heart of Ipswich’s historic town centre; the sophisticated, art-soaked, Parisian-inspired bistro/bar is a haven for those who live and think creatively.

With Lisa’s genuine commitment to supporting local artists, The Fox cultivates a space where imagination thrives, and community strengthens.

“”Our Thursday nights there are filled with laughter and intention. We meet to socialize but also to plan, to reflect, to overcome challenges, and to bring our collective vision to life. Lisa’s warmth and support has nurtured these things. We’re deeply grateful to her and the entire Crafty Fox team for offering a venue we honestly couldn’t do without.”

If you’re passing through Ipswich, we wholeheartedly recommend stopping by the Crafty Fox. Hidden along the picturesque alley known as The Walk, its quiet whiskey-bar charm draws people from every corner of the community, whether you’re into tartines and pastries or an evening of pints, and good conversation.
